Words fail me on the France thing. It’s in the tradition of the plastic bag tax, the smoking ban, and having to learn to drive before you get out on the road (made that one up). Just extraordinary.
The LouderVoice list is great (thanks Conor) and there are plenty more possibilities I haven’t had time to explore.
That’s nuts! How do you remove advertising from a commercial website? Isn’t a website advertising in itself? I hope you don’t have the Gendarmerie knocking at your door…
Just back from the trip to Vinisud with a long wine-related post ahead of me. After three days of the fair I feel pretty much as though the CRS and their para boots had already dished out what you get for promoting wine. So I’m just going to carry on and see what happens. Though I did hear an interesting podcast last year about contravening law while blogging. Some jurisdictions have force at the point of publication (knock knock on your door) – but some countries define libel at the point of offence being taken (absolutely anywhere you read the offending material). Nutnificent.
