Do you deliver outside Ireland?
Unfortunately not, for a variety of practical and administrative reasons. To do so would, for one thing, in most instances cost you at least the value of your order in shipping and related charges.

What happens if I get a faulty bottle?
A very, very small percentage of bottles does turn out to be faulty . If you are unlucky enough to receive a faulty bottle, please let us know as soon as possible. If you can return the bottle and its remaining contents to us, we will exchange it without fuss. If this is not feasible, as is often the case with web orders, for instance, we will set up a web voucher for you to the appropriate value on receipt of written notification (by email, fax, or post) stating brief details of the purchase.

Do you run wine courses?
We don't run educational courses - the Wine and Spirit Education Trust in Ireland do, though, and we recommend these. You can find out more at www.wineboard.ie. We can, however, offer one-off tastings for clubs and companies &c. See our Wine Courses and Tastings page for a bit more information.

Do you only sell champagne?
We began with champagne, but now our list includes wines from around the world, beer, and more.

What about glass hire?
We recommend you have a word with Alternative Cater Hire, who offer glasses and very much more.

Why don't you sell any of the 'famous names'?
We make it our business to find interesting wines that are not currently available in Ireland, and become their sole representatives where possible. We're always happy to suggest wines that you might like, in the style of a bigger brand. From time to time we may offer 'famous names' to oblige customers who find these reassuring.

Do you sell to the public?
Yes, from our shops in the English Market, Cork, and at our warehouse in the Marina Commercial Park. And, of course, from this website. Trade customers are welcome to call us for further details of our wholesale business.

Can you get a particular wine for me?
There are so many wines in the world that it's very unlikely we'll stock your holiday memory. Maybe that's no bad thing. Bringing in a new product involves a lot of paperwork and a certain amount of risk, no matter how good the wine is. We'd prefer to help you to find something from our list that makes you just as happy.
