MAISON FLEURIE, AOC Moulin à Vent

Lovely deep ruby colour with ripe fruit aromas. On the palate, flavours of liquorice and spice contribute to the powerful elegance of the wine. Assertive tannins indicate an excellent aging potential of five to eight years in keeping with the status of Moulin Ã Vent as the 'little Burgundy' of the Beaujolais. Benefits froma serving temperature of 16°C, even from decanting (in the case of older wines), in order to develop its bouquet and become the ideal accompaniment to red meats, game, cheese, and (again, with older vintages) chocolate gateaux.
