Bubble Brothers are sponsoring the first Irish round-the-world trip by bicycle, which is due to end in Greystones, Co. Wicklow in early May 2010 after an amazing series of adventures around the globe.
In November 2008, Simon Evans and Fearghal O'Nuallain set out on the first Irish circumnavigation of the globe by bicycle - an unsupported expedition covering over 30,000km, passing through 30 countries and some of the highest, lowest, driest, coldest, warmest and loneliest places on earth. The aim of the trip has been to promote the positive contribution that cycling can make to the world, while raising funds for Aware and highlighting climate change.
Simon and Fearghal are using various means to keep followers up to date with their adventure, all of which are linked from their revolutioncycle.ie website.
Their picture journal, which includes photographs from preparatory trips, is available from the revolutioncycle Flickr stream, which you can find here.
