Ripe and juicy with good weight, moderate tannins and attractive notes of sweet blackberry, farmyard and thyme. Impressive length and complexity for a wine at this price.

PRESS
Blake Creedon, Irish Examiner (January 2012) - 'This is another wine that won me over on the first sniff: its delicious sweet farmyard scent giving way to a well-weighted medium mouthful.'

Cabardès is a new-ish (estd. 1999) and fairly small red-and-rosé appellation in the hills north of Carcassonne. Its catchment area is on the climatic border between balmy Languedoc-Roussillon and the more inclement South-West, in the foothills of the Montagne Noir. This double identity is manifested in the grape varieties which make up the appellation's wines: Grenache and Syrah from the SE; Cabernets Franc and Sauvignon, and Merlot, from the SW/Bordeaux. The result is some genuinely unique wines, the majority of which are red.

Note: The Jouclary history goes back as far as 1530, when Guilhaume de Jouclary was the Consul of Carcassonne.
We deliver anywhere on the island of Ireland, using Fastway. Your wines should be with you within 2 days of ordering but it can take up to 5 days at peak times (Christmas especially).
There is no delivery charge for our pre-mixed cases whether of six or twelve bottles, or on orders over €120 (after discounts). Orders of less than this value incur a flat charge of €10.
You can collect your order from our Marina Business Park shop (choose 'Pick up - at Marina' on the Checkout page) - allow one working day for us to process your order. We recommend phoning before you make your journey to check that your order is ready, as there may be a slight delay if we need to order it from the bonded warehouse.
If you are not at home to receive your delivery the courier will try to ring you before returning your parcel to the depot; or, provided you have given your express consent to this in advance, may attempt to leave the wine with a neighbour. A signature is required to complete the delivery at all times.
You can cancel an order for up to 7 days after you receive the wine (just call us) but you may be liable for the cost of returning the stock to us, depending on the circumstances.
All goods must be examined at the time of delivery. Claims for breakages (etc) will be entertained only if Bubble Brothers is given notification within two days of delivery.
Faulty (i.e. oxidised, 'corked') wines are a fact of life in wine (though the incidence is much reduced, thankfully). If you detect an issue with a wine we've sent you, call us and we will replace the bottle without quibble.
