Cycles Gladiator Merlot 2007 (88% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Cabernet Franc)
This merlot-based Meritage, which sees ageing in new French oak, is supple and juicy, with flavors of ripe berries, clove, and cola.
Approachable and easygoing enough to drink on its own, Cycles merlot would also be a great match for, say, beef teriyaki or lamb kebabs.
The Cycles range is banned in the US state of Alabama as a result of the scandalous nude lady featured on its front label. Tell a friend about this wine! |
